Our Tender-Tots are the ultimate combination of quick and elevated—made with some clever shortcuts but so delicious they’ll feel like you spent all day in the kitchen! Perfect for an appetizer party or as the starter for one of our family-style meals, this dish is always a hit. Justin and I first had something like this on a date night, and I immediately made a mental note to recreate it with our own spin. Now it’s a go-to favorite that’s both easy to make and guaranteed to impress!
Ingredients
For the Tater Tots:
One bag of Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns
Salt + Pepper
1/4 cup of Cornstarch
For the Beef Tenderloin:
See Beef Tenderloin recipe. This can also be subbed with a steak seasoned well and sliced
For the Sauce
( oz bottle of Prepared Horseradish
1/2 cup of Mayo
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
Salt + Black Pepper
For Garnish:
2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
TOTS:
Prepare the Tater Tots: In a bowl mix together all of the tot ingredients.
Shape the Tots: Using a medium cookie scoop-pack the tots Into desired shape and size-
Cook: Desired method is to pan fry the tots in a cast Iron skillet with avocado oil making sure that they are golden brown and crispy on both sides. Let it cool on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any extra oil
Assemble
Cook – See Beef Tenderloin Recipe and cook as directed.
Slice & Top: Slice the Tenderloin into thin strips & place on top of each tater tots.
Mix all sauce Ingredients until fully combined. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Sauce, Garnish & Enjoy add a desired amount of sauce to each tot and garnish with chives. Enjoy warm!
