How long have you had your blog?
I have had a version of this blog for just over 6 years! I started as "beyond beyond blogger". Fun story- my Papa always told us Beyond Beyond stories when we were young and that saying has always been special to me. I love sharing what we are up to and what is going on in our life- in hopes to help others!
What inspires you?
I could sum it all up in this, I love to make people feel joy. I am at my best when I am taking care of other people and they feel that they are beautifully and wonderfully made.
How long have you been married? How did you you are your husband meet?
We got married in 2011 and are celebrating our 12th anniversary this year! We actually met in high school back in 2000! We were both in Spanish 1 together, first day/first period of high school We never dated in HS, just friends. We started dating when I was 20 and he was turning 22.
If I am shopping items you linked- what size are you?
I typically wear a size 26/27 jean and a size 6 in Lululemon. Bra size I am a 32 DD and I am 5'5. I typically post sizes in stories or in the LTK page.
Where are you from?
I was born in Southern California and lived there until I was turning 13. We moved to Colorado the summer before 7th grade and we have been living in the same location since then. We live 20 minutes north of Denver.
What Salt & Acres?
We get this question a ton. Salt- we want to be "the salt of the earth", our faith is a huge contributing factor to WHY we choose to do what we are doing and we feel like we are called to hospitality. We want to take care of people and spread joy! Acres- we have always wanted to have a home on acres and love the simplicity of what living and being on land represents.
What nationality are you?
I get this a ton! People think I look "ethnic"- I always think that is funny! I am a mixture of things but majority French & Italian. I know I have some german and like 1% Native American :) My husband is mostly Italian & Norwegian, with some other things. So my kids have lots of Italian in their blood line!
